This initiative was signed in October 2024 during the visit to India by the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez. Its objective is to identify and resolve the challenges faced by Spanish companies investing in India and vice versa.
Nine Spanish companies from various sectors participated in this first meeting. Their representatives had the opportunity to present their main challenges to the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) of the Indian Ministry of Commerce, Invest India, and other stakeholders. The session was co-chaired by the Secretary of the DPIIT and the Spanish Ambassador.
