IE University ranks among the world's top 10 in the QS Business Masters rankings

The institution recently announced a plan to double the size of its research faculty over the next five years

IE University reinforces its global leadership in the QS Business Masters Rankings 2026, which place four of its programmes among the best in the world: Global Online MBA (2nd), Master in Strategic Marketing & Communication (5th), Master in Management (7th) and International MBA (11th). The ranking assesses employability, career trajectory, academic profile and institutional leadership.

In the 2025–2026 academic year, IE welcomes more than 10,000 students from 160 countries, with 90% of its student body being international and 53% female. This year, it is launching four new programmes in social sciences, technology and design, expanding its academic offering: Bachelor in Political Science, Dual Degree in Business & Political Science, Master in Design and Master in Technology & Global Affairs.

The university has announced a plan to double its research faculty in five years, with more than 200 new hires and a significant increase in resources. Currently, IE allocates 16.7% of its budget to R&D, with an intensity of 1.4% of direct GDP, well above the European average. In three decades, its researchers have published more than 3,300 articles, cited more than 55,000 times.
