2025 Edition of the Indian Leaders Program. Eco-Startups: Green Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Held in Madrid, Salamanca and Valladolid from June 23 to 27, brought together entrepreneurs, experts, companies, and institutions to generate greater knowledge and collaboration in a thriving sector | VIII edition activity summary

The Spain-India Council Foundation held a new edition of the Indian Leaders Program in Madrid, Salamanca, and Valladolid from June 23 to 27. This year, the program focused on "Eco-Startups: Innovation and Green Entrepreneurship."

With the Indian Leaders Program, the Spain-India Council Foundation promotes knowledge between the two countries and creates networks of contacts among high-level professionals. To this end, it invites a select group of high-level Indian professionals and experts to Spain. For one week, the Foundation organized meetings, gatherings, and technical visits focused on a sector of common interest. The objective is to offer an up-to-date overview of Spain, its resources, its potential, and its capacity to generate joint opportunities.

This year, the Spain-India Council Foundation has invited the following Indian participants to Spain:

▪️ Ankit Agarwal, Founder and CEO of Phool.co (Kanpur Flowercycling® Pvt. Ltd.). Ankit Agarwal is the Founder and CEO of Phool.co, a social enterprise that has pioneered flowercycling® technologies to reduce pollution in the Ganges River by recycling and utilizing the vast amounts of flower waste from temples in India.

▪️ Dr. Ruchi Saxena, Founder of Caerobotics and a pioneer in the use of drones for public health and disaster response. Caerobotics is a social impact consultancy that promotes the adoption of emerging technologies—such as drones and geospatial data—for public health, disaster risk reduction, and sustainable development initiatives. A physician by training with an MBA in Health Services, she also holds certifications as a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, a quality systems auditor, and a professional coach.

▪️Utkarsh Singh, Founder and CEO of DronaMaps. Utkarsh Singh is the Founder and CEO of DronaMaps, a cutting-edge technology company specializing in computer vision and autonomous systems. A Forbes “30 Under 30” (Asia) honoree, Utkarsh holds a degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, where his academic work with big data sparked his interest in analyzing and manipulating 3D geospatial data.

▪️ Devanshee Deepak, Global Product Director at DronaMaps. Devanshee Deepak is the Global Product Director at DronaMaps, a leading advanced technology company in geospatial analysis, drone-based 3D reconstruction, and AI-powered feature detection.

▪️ Shivanshu Dwivedi, Founder an CEO of Predulive Labs. Shivanshu Dwivedi is a pioneering entrepreneur in emerging technologies, sustainability, and digital inclusion in India. He is the Founder and CEO of Predulive Labs, an AI-based drone technology company supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. He is also the Founder and Chairman of the Predulive Edutech Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering rural youth through skill development and entrepreneurship.

▪️ Anuja Dhawan, Co-founder of Dubverse. Anuja Dhawan is the founder of Dubverse, an AI-powered platform that is breaking down language barriers in the content economy. With Dubverse, Anuja and her team have created one of the first Indian platforms to launch fundamental text-to-speech (TTS) models in Indian languages, paving the way for the creation of studio-quality multilingual videos at scale.

In addition, a private reception is planned at the Embassy of India in Spain. They will also hold a meeting with the members of the Board of Trustees of the Spain-India Council Foundation, to learn about the structure and functioning of a unique entity, as it is a benchmark in public-private collaboration, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation and formed by major Spanish companies and institutions with activities in India.

This intense program and the outstanding level of its participants will undoubtedly serve to strengthen professional ties and facilitate the emergence of initiatives and joint projects among them.
