Técnicas Reunidas continues to develop its activities in India through projects that combine its expertise in energy infrastructure with social commitment initiatives. HRRL energy complex in Rajasthan

The commissioning of the HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) complex, located in Pachpadra, Rajasthan, represents a milestone for India’s energy sector and highlights Técnicas Reunidas’ contribution to the development of strategic energy infrastructure in the country.

HRRL is the first newly built integrated refinery with petrochemical production developed in India in the last decade.

As part of this project, Técnicas Reunidas supplied six process heaters for different units of the facility: two heaters for the crude distillation unit (CDU), one for the vacuum distillation unit (VDU), two for the delayed coking unit (DCU), and one for the vacuum gas oil hydrotreater (VGO HDT).

The company’s scope of work covered the entire project lifecycle, from design and engineering to procurement, manufacturing, transportation and on-site installation, as well as testing, mechanical completion and supervision of commissioning activities.

The relevance of this contribution was also reflected in the communication issued on the occasion of the refinery’s commissioning, in which the CDU and VDU heaters supplied by Técnicas Reunidas appeared prominently in the image accompanying the message from India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

New educational opportunities near Bangalore

Alongside its activities in the energy sector, Técnicas Reunidas India develops initiatives linked to its commitment to local communities through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

As part of this commitment, the company supported the construction of a new kindergarten and primary school block at Rotary Channa Patna School, located near Bangalore. The new facilities were inaugurated in July 2026 and are intended to provide younger students with a safe and suitable learning environment.

The initiative forms part of Técnicas Reunidas India’s commitment to community development and reflects its support for education as a means of contributing to sustainable social progress.

Through these CSR initiatives, the company demonstrates its commitment to strengthening the communities where it operates and generating an impact that extends beyond its business activities.
