The organisation carried out initiatives in India during the 2025-26 season as part of a regional programme that reached more than 3,200 children and young people
The Real Madrid Foundation carried out a total of 38 sports and social development projects during the 2025-26 season in seven Asia-Pacific countries, including India, benefiting 3,204 children and young people. The projects combined sports activities with initiatives related to education, health, child protection and equal opportunities.
India, among the countries where the Foundation’s projects are growing
During the season, the Real Madrid Foundation’s projects in India and Indonesia continued to grow and incorporated initiatives related to nutrition, educational support, mental health and female empowerment.
The model developed by the Foundation in the region places the training of coaches, child protection and the creation of safe environments among its priorities. These initiatives are developed together with local organisations, educational institutions and companies committed to social development.
A model combining sport, education and well-being
In addition to sports activities, the social and sports projects implemented in Asia-Pacific incorporated initiatives related to nutrition, health, emotional well-being, work with families and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
According to Real Madrid, the support of organisations such as Abbott, HP, ROADIS and Corpay made it possible to introduce new actions aimed at improving participants’ health, reducing the digital and gender gap, and expanding educational opportunities for children and young people.
The 2025-26 season also laid the foundations for future initiatives in other countries in the region, expanding the reach of this sports and social development model.
