India, the country that contributed the most renewable capacity to Acciona in 2025

Our employer increased its profit last year to 803 million euros, an increase of 90.4% compared to the previous year

Our patron, Acciona, closed the last fiscal year with a net profit of €803 million, representing a 90.4% increase compared to the previous year. The company attributes this growth to the strong performance of its Infrastructure business, the contribution of Nordex, and asset rotation in its energy division. Group revenues reached €20.236 billion, a 5.5% increase, while EBITDA reached €3.211 billion, consolidating a year of solid and diversified growth.

In this context of rising results, India was one of the countries that led the company's international activity. Specifically, with regard to Acciona Energía, India stood out as the country that added the most renewable capacity during the year, with 167 MW incorporated. This figure positioned the Asian country as the main contributor to the group's organic development of new power.

The expansion in India is part of ACCIONA's strategy to strengthen its presence in regions with strong energy demand and ambitious decarbonization goals. The dynamism of the Indian market, combined with its scale and the growing need for clean energy generation, has made it a priority destination for the deployment of new solar and wind projects.

The company's progress in India also helped sustain ACCIONA Energía's global production, which reached 27,648 GWh despite lower generation in Spain. With this boost, the group consolidates its position in one of the world's most competitive renewable energy markets and opens the door to new growth opportunities in the region.
