It holds the third position worldwide in the ranking of best programs for entrepreneurs published by Poets & Quants
Our partner, IE Business School, was recently recognized with third place worldwide in the World’s Best MBA Programs for Entrepreneurship Ranking 2025, published by Poets & Quants. This American ranking consolidates IE University’s position as an international leader in entrepreneurship education, one of the pillars of IE University’s academic offering. It is worth noting that 30% of this institution’s graduates decide to become entrepreneurs at some point in their professional careers.
“At IE University, innovation and entrepreneurship are key areas in which we work every day; it goes beyond just education,” says Juan José Güemes, Vice President of IE University and President of the IE Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center. “Entrepreneurship is part of our DNA, and this recognition among the world’s best business schools by Poets & Quants reflects the strength of our international ecosystem. The entrepreneurial mindset of our community—students, faculty, staff, and graduates in more than 180 countries—along with the support they receive through mentorships, coaching, and access to global investment opportunities, generates an impact that transforms industries and communities worldwide,” he adds.
IE University also develops projects to help students scale their business ventures. To this end, it offers initiatives such as the IE Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center and the Area 31 incubator, which facilitate connections with investors and provide a conducive environment for developing their ideas. This year, more than 1,000 students are participating in the IE Business School Venture Lab, with the goal of transforming their ideas into solid and scalable business projects, with direct access to key figures in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
