ICEX conference on urban mobility and metro systems in India
It will provide an overview of the urban mobility sector and the main projects underway in the Asian country
ICEX and the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in New Delhi are organizing the ICEX Conference on Urban Mobility and Metros in India 2026, to be held from October 23 to 25.
The event, which will take place in Bhubaneswar, Odisha (India), will allow participants not only to learn firsthand about the projects being promoted in the country, but also to connect with the responsible organizations that develop the projects and promote tenders. To this end, they will follow an itinerary that includes B2G and B2B meetings, networking activities, and sector-specific meetings.
Furthermore, participating companies will receive accreditation and an exhibition space at the Urban Mobility India Conference & Expo 2026 (UMI), organized by the Indian Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). This event brings together local authorities, metro operators, and public companies responsible for planning, implementing, and managing urban transport projects in India.
A guided tour will also be conducted at Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation Limited, the operator of the local metro system, to learn firsthand about its projects, technical requirements, and criteria for future tenders.
The registration deadline for these sessions is September 11.
