Gestamp obtains the 'Great Place to Work' certificate in India

It recognizes its commitment to building a corporate culture of trust, collaboration, and excellence

Our Patron Gestamp announced on its LinkedIn profile that it has received the 'Great Place to Work' certification in India. This certification is awarded by the eponymous organization, which specializes in evaluating and recognizing companies that offer excellent work environments based on trust, respect, and pride of belonging.

In its post, the company states that "this recognition is a celebration of every individual who brings passion, integrity, and innovation to their work every day. It is the result of visionary leadership, inclusive values, and a shared belief in shaping a better future."

For a company to receive the 'Great Place to Work' certification, it must complete a series of steps. First, it must administer a confidential questionnaire to employees, called the 'Trust Index,' to measure their work experience and level of trust in the organization. Second, it must complete the 'Culture Brief,' in which the company provides information about its policies, practices, and organizational culture. Finally, the company must achieve at least 60% positive responses on the Trust Index.

Gestamp has had a presence in India since 2008 and currently employs more than 2,000 people and operates several production plants in the country, focused on manufacturing metal components for automobiles.
