The Barcelona-based fashion firm will market part of its catalog in the Asian country, which it considers strategic in its 2025-2028 roadmap
The Spanish fashion brand Desigual is returning to the Indian market, this time through e-commerce. The company has signed an agreement with Myntra, the largest fashion marketplace in the Asian country, which boasts over 60 million active users. On this platform, Desigual will initially offer a selection of accessories from its latest collections, before expanding its catalog to include clothing in 2026. Desigual's return to India, following its attempts to establish a presence in the country through physical stores - the last of which was in 2020 -is part of its 2025-2028 roadmap. India is identified as a strategic market, considered "a crucial region for the growth of fashion and retail."
Founded in 1984, Desigual currently has over 280 of its own stores and a presence in more than 100 countries.
