Global Cloud Xchange becomes a new SICF patron

The Indian company was officially added as a Spain India Council Foundation patron during the latest Board meeting, held on June 24

Global Cloud Xchange (GCX) is an important company which forms part of the Indian multinational Reliance Communications and was represented at SICF’s meeting by its director in Spain, Paul Rhodes.

GCX offers an all-encompassing portfolio of custom solutions for operators, companies and new media. It boasts the largest sub-sea cable system in the world, which is 67,000 km long and integrates seamlessly into Reliance Communications’ 200,000 km-long optic fibre local route, offering a solid global service platform.

With links to 40 business markets worldwide which cover Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East, the company provides managed services to over 160 countries and offers a vast Ethernet network ready to support VPLS capabilities. Global Cloud Xchange is also equipped to provide support for the rollout of next-generation business solutions through its cloud supply networks.

Paul Rhodes, the company’s director in Spain, expressed his satisfaction with becoming a patron, stating that the company has great expectations for this project and is excited to take part in the activities organised by SICF.
