8th Meeting of the Foundation's Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees held a meeting in the Viana Palace in Madrid, with the main purpose of approving the Action Plan for 2012.

Some of the highlight activities for next year include the 6th Spain-India Tribune, organized by Casa Asia, to be held in Delhi on March 21-22, the 1st Spain-India Forum, to be organized by the Foundation in Madrid in autumn, the 1st Visiting Program for Indian Future Leaders (May 27-June 2 in Madrid, Valladolid and Barcelona) and the ceremony of the 1st Foundation's Award granted to Mo. Zubin Mehta in springtime, among others.

Also the Patrons were reported on the activities undertaken after the last Board's Meeting held in June in Barcelona and welcomed Grupo Lacor and Gamesa. Ángel Adiego, CEO of Grupo Lacor, and Carlos Fernández-Lerga, Member of the Board and Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of Gamesa, formally accepted the position of new Patrons.
