The Foundation's President, Antonio Escámez, expressed gratitude for the institutional support of the Deputy Prime Minister.
The First Deputy Prime Minister, María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, held a meeting with the Spain-India Council Foundation Board of Trustees on June 14, 2010. The Foundation's President, Antonio Escámez, expressed gratitude for the institutional support that the Deputy Prime Minister has provided in following the Foundation's progress, and then reviewed the different activities planned to be carried out over the course of the year 2010.
The First Deputy Prime Minister was delighted with both the business and institutional support provided to the Foundation by various organizations since the last meeting held with her in 2009. She encouraged all the organizations represented to work with renewed vigor towards achieving the Foundation's goals and objectives. She also asked to be presented at the end of the summer with an implementation plan for one of the initiatives that was discussed.
