On June 29, coinciding with the holding of the 7th Meeting of the Spain- India Council Foundation Board of Trustees in Barcelona, the Board's President, Antonio Escámez, and the Director of Casa de la India, Guillermo Rodríguez, signed a collaboration agreement formalizing the Foundation's sponsorship of this ambitious initiative promoted by Casa de la India in the cultural sphere.
This project will take place within the framework of the Rabindranath Tagore Year declared by UNESCO and started last month in Valladolid, and will last until May 2012,with activities in Madrid, Barcelona and, above all, in Segovia during the Hay Festival (September 22-25), an undoubtedly high profile event with a major media impact.
